Photographing The Light
Alex Donnely has been taking photographs for 26 years
A lot of my photography has been done while on photographic holidays run by Light and Land. I can’t thank all the tour leaders (Charlie Waite, Phil Malpas, Clive Minnett, David Ward, Joe Cornish and Sue Bishop) enough for all their help over the years.
I started out shooting film on a Canon T90, then moved to medium format with a Bronica SQAI and then onto large format with a 6x7 linhof technikardan. This was my favourite camera and was sad to leave it behind and move to digital with the Canon 5DSR.
I left London in Decemeber 2018 to start a new life in Cornwall and pursue my love of landscape photography.
